Senior Interior Designer

POSITION SUMMARY:

Ellis Interior Design is looking for a Senior Interior Designer with a passion for creativity, innovation, and excellence. DUTIES:

Design & Project Execution:

Lead and manage design projects from concept to completion.
Develop and present design concepts, including sketches, mood boards, and 3D renderings.
Specify and draft all elements of interior design, including space planning, millwork, finishes, custom furnishings, and lighting.
Work closely with the Principal Designer to ensure design integrity and execution.

Project Management & Coordination:

Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to bring designs to life.
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Review and approve materials, finishes, and furnishings.
Ensure quality control through site visits and contractor coordination.

Client & Team Communication:

Maintain clear and professional communication with clients throughout the design process.
Present concepts and design proposals confidently.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience: 3-5 years in interior design (high-end residential or commercial preferred).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design preferred.
Software: Proficiency in Archicad is preferred (training available).
Skills: Strong space planning, construction documentation, and project management abilities.
Personal Qualities: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator.
Location: Full-time, in-office position in Ketchum, Idaho.
